Dietary Practice and Your Gut - Keeping GI Symptoms Away Abdominal bloating, flatulence and irregular bowel habits are common symptoms of gastrointestinal (GI) problems. A simple dietary change can affect your bowel and change your gut microflora. Learn how your dietary pattern can affect your bowel and ways to keep your gut healthy.
Dr Loh Poh Yen (Medicine '07) Dr Loh Poh Yen graduated from the University of Malaya in 1999, and came to Singapore in 2007 to pursue specialist training in both gastroenterology and advanced internal medicine. He is one of the few doctors accredited by Ministry of Health in two specialties – gastroenterology and internal medicine. He underwent further training in the management of advanced liver disease and liver transplantation at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, a leading hospital in living donor liver transplantation. He was a former consultant at Changi General Hospital before he joined private practice in 2017.
